::We had a room with castle view & balcony on the 9th floor. Couldn't have asked for better accommodation. Two minutes from the old town main square. Rather than booking online, give them a call instead. You may get a better deal or a better room that way.

::The grand hotel is deserving of its name with an old charm to it. Has good rooms: they feel somewhat old fashioned but then the hotel is pretty old. I stayed on the "personal" side of it. Maybe the "business" side is better. Staff were kind: smooth reception, and helpful answers to all the practical questions. The pool and spa area was pretty cool. They have a large-ish pool, you can do mini laps. The sauna area was clean quite and very relaxing. It's five minutes to the three bridges and the heart of the city. Very convenient to go out.

::Ottimo Hotel a due passi dal centro, vicinissimo a tutti i principali punti di interesse di Lubiana, Ponte Triplo, Cattedrale, centro storico, a circa 30 minuti a piedi dal Castello di Lubiana. A circa 1 km dalla Metelkova, un centro artistico un po' in disuso e trasandato ma molto particolare, e l'hotel è anche vicino (qualche km) all'uscita autostradale. Hotel molto pulito, parcheggio sotterraneo forse un po' caruccio (20 euro a notte), ma utilissimo per evitare di cercare continuamente parcheggio in caso di spostamenti per escursioni, dotato di piscina e sauna, quasi sempre piene in altissima stagione ma belle e funzionali, camere spaziose con letti grandi (1 piazza e mezza) e confortevoli, bagno grande e dotato di tutto il necessario. Colazione a buffet abbondantissima, disponibili sia ottimi caffè- cappuccini-brioche, come pure colazione internazionale di frutta, verdura, affettati pane ecc. ecc. Vivamente consigliato!
